INTRO
Clifton & Co. is a new and upcoming business founded by my friend Matthew Jordan. His vision is to improve the quality of life of people suffering and to contribute to the continued research into treatments for Parkinson's and Anxiety. Clifton& Co. only sell the highest quality, 100% organic CBD products and will be donating $1 from every purchases to The Parkinson's Foundation whose mission is to make life better for people with Parkinson’s disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure.
CLIENT NEEDS
Matt was in need of a rebranding of his business to coincide with the release of his own CBD products, which would also require packaging design. The vision for the new branding would be inspired by vintage motifs and the feature the signature hummingbird which is a symbol of health and joy.
LOGO DEVELOPMENT
After the first round of idea generation, these were the four designs that were created. For the next round, we would take aspect from all four to create a more refined version that could be legible from small sizes as well adding the new brand slogan 'CBD the way it should be'. The hummingbird would be given more feather detailing and the final silhouette of the logo would be based on the first option. The colour palette would become more monochromatic using contrasting green tones.
PACKAGING
For the packaging development, Matt require the Box and Bottle designs for his line of CBD oils for three different quantities. The designs are natural and clean reflecting the product and the personality of the brand. The three sizes are defined by different hues of green which keeps the products tied together.
